"My board wobbles now?" or "I have a knot in my board" .. What gives?
- Due to the natural movement of wood, please expect some twisting/bowing/cupping of wood products and are NOT reflective of a craftsmanship issue. I can't control nature. It would be cool to do but I can't.
- Prologue exposure of heat/cold/not following product care will increase the chances of movement.
- Wood products may have imperfections (small nicks, chips etc)
- Nylon rope may need to readjusted over time
- Expect knots, rough lumber, saw marks, gaps etc
- All products are warrantied up to 30 days after purchase. If you have an issue, please reach out via email
- Products with metal wire mesh may have sharp edges, Please use caution.
"Why don't you sell online?" or "Why don't you list everything you make with the prices?"
As you may or may not know, this is my side business and not a full time job (Unfortunately).
As the "One man band" here at DDWW... I lack a huge building, I do all the running around for supplies, coaching soccer, doing financials and mowing the lawn... I run out of time.
Also, the market price of wood (especially Teak) changes daily and I could put a price on here and it could go up 20% tomarrow and I never get a chance to update the website. So, If you want let's say a 12 x 18 cutting board out of Teak.. I will give you a price and that's the price. This will take the worry on both parties of what's the actual price. It's simple and straight forward.
